HAWKS Parents Honored | Community Spirit

Ridge Road Elementary School held its Outstanding HAWKS Parents Luncheo.  Faculty and staff nominated parents and guardians based on the support and help offered to make his or her child successful at RRE.Two parents per grade were chosen from the nominees to receive this award. They were invited to eat lunch with their child and each received a framed certificate and small gift from RRE.   Ridge Road Elementary is very thankful for the outstanding work that these parents put in daily to make sure their child achieves all of his/her goals.  

Winners were:  3rd grade- Nicole Mimbs parent of Samantha Julian and Tiffany Peavy, parent of Cameron Peavy; 4th grade- Tikesha Watts, parent of Queshawn Strowbridge, and Ellen Wright, parent of Logan Wright;  5th grade- Dianne Hilson, parent of Jalen Poole, and Delores Ivey, parent of Robert Ivey.

HAWKS is the theme for RRE School this year and stands for Honest, Able, Wise, Kind, and Show self control. Each morning during announcements and pledge time, students review what it means to be HAWKS! Outstanding HAWKS parents will be chosen each month through May. Congratulations parents!
