4th grade math and science teacher Tiffany Prince of Ridge Road Elementary School in Sandersville is this week's "My Teacher is Tops" winner.
Her student wrote 13WMAZ a letter three months ago. Ms. Prince was so proud that she saved a copy. But they were both caught off guard Wednesday morning when junior journalist Malik Bryant surprised them with the news.
The letter says Ms. Prince "is a smart and loving teacher" and "as pretty as a butterfly."

That prompted some civil rights leaders to ask that it be replaced with a statue of Martin Luther King, Jr.
State Representative Tyrone Brooks (D-Atlanta) even introduced a bill to make it happen.
