Murray Signs National Letter of Intent

Murray Signs National Letter of Intent

Washington County High School senior Tierra Murray signed a National Letter of Intent to play basketball for Southern Union State Community College in Wadley, Alabama. Murray, who also played softball for the Lady Hawks, excels in academics and will be among the honor graduates of the Class of 2013.

Head Coach Sug Parker commented, “Tierra has been an integral part of the Lady Hawk basketball program for 4 years. Her leadership skills will continue to open doors for her as she exemplifies the traits of God-given talents. Thank you Tierra for being a great student and athlete.”

“Hard work beats talent when talent refuses to work hard,” said Assistant Coach Cassandra Curry. “Tierra’s hard work combined with her talent has paid off and I congratulate her!” she concluded.
