Pizza Hut Returns to Sandersville, McDonalds Construction Underway

In the very near future the Big Mac's and Quarter Pounders will once again be served in Sandersville.

The new McDonalds  is being constructed in the same location as the old McDonalds on South Harris Street in Sandersville.  The building is now dried in and the parking lot has now been paved.  The new McDonalds is expected to open between July 15th and July18th.

In other dining news in Sandersville, Pizza Hut is returning after a long absence.  The old stand-alone Pizza Hut building is being torn down and the new location will be in a store front location in the Kaolin Plaza Shopping Center.

Save a Cup for Earth Day, Get Free Coffee

Conserve. Get free coffee.

In honor of Earth Day today, you can bring your travel mug to Starbuck's and get a free cup of coffee.

On any day though, you can bring your travel mug or tumbler to Starbuck's and receive 10 cents off your purchase, or you can order your drink "for here" and drink out of a non-paper cup.

Starbuck's Earth Day article says that 1.2 million people participated last year. That's a lot of saved paper cups! And that's just one day.

What if we used our travel mugs every day?
