Students Learn about Admission to OFTC

On April 22nd and 23rd, representatives from Oconee Fall Line Technical College's Student Affairs office talked with adult education students at the college's Sandersville Campus about enrollment and the admissions process.

OFTC Admissions Director Raydor Coneway spoke with the students about the variety of programs that OFTC has to offer and the admission process.

"A quality education is within your reach, and it's easy to get started," said Coneway. "OFTC's admissions representatives are happy to guide you through the application process, and we will gladly take you on a tour of any program that interests you."

OFTC's Financial Aid Director Betty Young discussed financial aid opportunities available to students to help with tuition and expenses. She encouraged them to apply for financial aid and make the most of the opportunities available to them.

OFTC’s Meeks recognized as a finalist for the 2014 TCSG Instructor of the Year

Atlanta, GA – Kim Meeks, an English instructor at Oconee Fall Line Technical College, was recently honored as one of the nine finalists for the Technical College System of Georgia’s 2014 Instructor of the Year.

The top instructors from each of the state’s 24 technical colleges and the technical division at Bainbridge State College, which is part of the University System of Georgia, compete for the Rick Perkins Award for Excellence in Technical Instruction.

The finalists for the award were recognized and congratulated by TCSG Commissioner Ron Jackson during a banquet in honor of the system’s best instructors and top students at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Atlanta on April 24th.
