Photographing your holidays

Photographing your holidays

Now is the time to get your camera's out and start taking pictures, if you haven't already done so. Memorial day is coming up soon and there will be family and friends gathering and what better way to document the occaision than to take photographs? Many of you are probably planning vacations soon, also. Capture those moments in time and make memories by taking stunning photographs.

What makes a stunning photograph?

1 Perspective.... change your perspective by taking photographs from below your subject or getting above your subject. By doing so, you create more interesting pictures.

2. Fill your frame... Don't make the viewer look for the subject! Fill the frame with your subject to create impact in your photographs!

3. Keep your eyes open... Shoot candid shots to capture the moment!

4. Focus... Make sure your photographs are in focus. I always focus on the eyes to make sure they are sharp (works for animals too!)
